Introduction

The release notes below are intended to provide descriptions of any new features, improvements, and bug fixes included in this release of Exosite’s Murano platform. Where applicable, an explanation of the user impact is provided, as well as any additional information that may be useful.

New

  • Are you a Murano business user? Would you like a profile settings page to call your own? You’re in luck. A new “My Profile” link has been added to the drop-down menu from your email address in the top-right corner of the page. Click on this to access your business user profile settings, where you can update your username, reset your password, and toggle your Two-Factor Authentication preference.
  • New limits are in place on the Timeseries service’s write() method. A Tsdb.write() operation is now limited to no more than 100 metrics and 20 tags. Previously, no limit was enforced on this method, potentially leading to unwanted results in a solution’s timeseries data. If you have questions about these limits or how to best utilize tags and metrics in your timeseries data, contact Exosite Support or visit the developer forum.

Improved

  • The device page now supports incremental loading of devices, which will improve usability for business users with many devices. The initial page view will load the 50 devices, sorted chronologically to put active devices first. Want to view more? Click “Load more…” at the end of the page.
  • Looking for your Application logs? The link has been moved from the top-right of the page to the standard Application navigation menu, just between “Routes” and “Users.” You will also be greeted with an improved logs page. You can now click the “Logs” navigation link to refresh the log page content, and log items are improved with JSON log items formatted for readability.
